12K affordable homes to come up in Navi Mumbai

A new housing scheme in Kharghar node of Navi Mumbaiis Valley Shilp by CIDCO being introduced in January, brochures for which will be presented soon at all the branches of Thane Janata Sahakari bank soon.

NEW Year 2014 is buzzing in some great news for future home buyers in Navi Mumbai. CIDCO authorities announced that its housing scheme in Kharghar sector 36, that is currently under construction, and has arrived at an advanced stage of building, will be unveiled in January this year. This indicates that a total of 1,224 flats for both Middle Income Group (MIG) and Higher Income Group (HIG) will be available for sale.

The rates of the flats can differ, based on on the group in which they are set – for the MIG or HIG homes in between Rs 52 lakh and Rs 98 lakh.

Those people whose per month income is lower than Rs 61,000 can submit an application for homes in MIG type, while all those with earnings more than this can submit an application for HIG. The building of this project is given to B G Shirke.” For the very first time, CIDCO have set aside 5 per cent of the flats for Members of Parliament (MPs), MLAs and MLCs, when Project Affected Persons (PAPs) will be offered 5 per cent reservation.

CIDCO has not made the decision to go online application method and would make the brochures offered at the bank offices only. On the other hand, once the lottery is carried out, possession may be possible in in the month of November and December of 2014, as mentioned in Mid-Day Newspaper.

Following the unveiling of the MIG and HIG houses, CIDCO additionally plans to release EWS and LIG homes of about 3590 homes.
